Terms, in plain language.
This page is a plain-language summary of how the plan works. It doesn't replace the signed agreement for your project, which is the document that governs your specific contract.
The plan ($150/mo)
- This is a subscription, similar to Shopify, Wix, or a hosted WordPress plan. Your monthly payment covers the build, hosting, unlimited edits, 24/7 support, ongoing updates, and a free redesign every 3 years.
- If you'd rather pay upfront, you can prepay the year for $1,500 instead of paying monthly, which works out to two months free. It's the same contract and the same terms below, just paid on a different schedule.
- There's a 12-month minimum term. After 12 months, the plan continues month-to-month automatically, with no renewal action needed.
- Canceling before the 12-month minimum is up requires paying the remaining balance of that minimum term, since the monthly price is what funds building the site. After the minimum is met, you can cancel anytime with nothing further owed.
- Because hosting and maintenance are part of the subscription, the site comes down if the subscription ends, the same way a Shopify or Wix site does when its plan lapses.
- Up to 5 pages are included; additional pages are $50 each, and adding blog functionality is +$150.
- Larger sites, ecommerce, booking systems, memberships, custom integrations, or more involved functionality are quoted separately before any work starts.
Timeline and support
- Typical build time is about two weeks from when I have your content (logo, copy, photos, service details). Sites move faster the earlier that content arrives.
- Urgent support requests are handled as soon as possible. Non-urgent requests are handled during business hours (9am–5pm).
